Exciting WHF news.....Jaguars arrive!
01/10/11
Such exciting news from WHF this week with the arrival of 2 Jaguars - Ares and Athena - from Paradise Wildlife Park. They are part of the European Breeding Programme so maybe one day we will hear the patter of little Jaguar paws!
Jaguars are simply amazing. So clever and so strong - probably the cat to be the most afraid of on the planet. I will let you know more soon on my blog.

New Pictures....and some more moves!
09/04/11
I thought that it was time to upload a few new pictures!! WHF has been a very busy place in the last few months with many comings and goings.....from very big cats to the smallest member of the cat family, the Rusty Spotted cat.
2 little Rustys arrived from France (along with a female Serval) recently and I have to say that they are tiny! They are all currently in quarantine so photo opportunities are limited to through wire at the moment but I think that they will be a real hit with visitors in the future.
Cat moves are still the order of the day! Artem one of the male Amur Leopards has moved on to the Rutland Centre and Pamir (one of the 4 Pallas Cat kittens born at WHF last year) has more to the Rare Species Conservation Centre in Sandwich Kent.
I have uploaded a few new pictures of Themba the white lion, Narnia a white tiger and a few others including a Chinese leopard and a pallas cat.....hopefully more to follow shortly!
