I am currently doing my annual spring clean of this website - I expect it to be fully refreshed in the next few weeks. Hopefully the developments will be positive!

I have added a few more pictures today. Some of the little Amur Tiger cubs born to Ronja and Pan in the summer of 2012. They are just incredible and very different in looks from the Sumatran tiger cubs.

New Pictures added...
I have uploaded some new pictures to the site today.
- A few of the Amur leopard cubs and Serval kittens in the "Cubs & Kittens 2012" section

Cubs & Kittens!!
Over the last few months there has been a baby boom at WHF! Firstly Xizi gave birth to two rare Amur Leopard cubs and then Samia had 2 cute little Serval kittens shortly after. Then, to top off the baby boon, Ronja had 3 amazing little Amur Tiger cubs - the first Amur Tiger cubs ever born at WHF. So now is the time to start to share some of my first images of these little babies. I have created a new gallery "Cubs & Kittens 2012" and I will post all new pictures there. I hope that you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking pictures of them - a real privilege.
New Pictures added...
I have just uploaded some new pictures...and some of them of the more recent arrivals at WHF. The new images include pictures of Pan a large male Amur Tiger who has successfully mated with Ronja and he now the dad of 3 little cubs. There are also a couple of the female White Lions (Joy and Sophia) that arrived from South Africa in May. They are still in quarantine so the images aren't great as they were taken from outside the quarantine area and through wire mesh. I have also uploaded a couple of pictures of Athena, the stunning and elusive black Jaguar and one of Ares the male. The other first is one of Hogar, the very large Amur Leopard who is the dad of Xizi's two cubs born at WHF in May 2012. There are also a couple of images of the adorable Khan the Asian Black Leopard and then one of the two Sumatran Tiger brothers Kubu and Toba to complete the new images.
WHF goes baby mad!
The last few months have been very exciting at WHF. There are lots of new babies around that really have the "awwww" factor! There are 2 Amur leopard cubs, 2 Serval kittens and 3 Amur Tiger cubs. They are, of course, adorable and hopefully I will be able to keep you up to date with some pictures soon.
Decided it was time to upload a few new photo's!! I have uploaded some of the Sumatran Tiger cubs, Kubu and Toba so you can see how much they have grown up! Also a new one of Ares the male Jaguar, one of the 3 lion brothers, one of the delightful young female Snow Leopard Laila who arrived a few months ago.
White Lion sisters arrive
I am delighted to confirm that 2 female white lions have recently arrived at WHF from South Africa with the aim of adding a new genetic stream in the UK. The two sisters Joy and Sophia are important part of the plan is to set up a pride with the resident male Themba. Exciting news indeed and hopefully some pictures in the near future although the girls will be in quarantine for a few months.
More new pictures!
I have uploaded some new pictures. A couple of the Sumatran Tiger Cubs, Toba and Kubu. Two of the magnificent Ares the male Jaguar and one of Viktoria the Puma and Themba the White Lion.
Some new pictures of Kubu and Toba
I have added a few more pictures of the gorgeous Sumatran Tiger Cubs Kubu and Toba today. They are a real handful for Mum Puna but so much fun to be around. They play so much together and the current best things are - leaves!! They are nearly 4 months old now.
Introducing Kubu and Toba
I have just uploaded my first pictures of Toba and Kubu the 2 Sumatran Tiger cubs born at WHF in August. They are already real little characters and full of life to say the least.
I have created a new section "Sumatran Tiger Cubs" so the new pictures should be easy to find.
Website changes - and new pictures
I have made some changes to the website so I hope that you like it!
I thought I would celebrate the changes by adding a couple of new pictures! The first of Ares a male Jaguar who has recently arrived at WHF, one of Ben the Clouded Leopard, Narnia the White Tiger, Makari the Amur Tiger and one of the Fishing Cats. As ever I hope that you like them.
Any feedback is always appreciated.
Exciting WHF news.....Jaguars arrive!
Such exciting news from WHF this week with the arrival of 2 Jaguars - Ares and Athena - from Paradise Wildlife Park. They are part of the European Breeding Programme so maybe one day we will hear the patter of little Jaguar paws!
Jaguars are simply amazing. So clever and so strong - probably the cat to be the most afraid of on the planet. I will let you know more soon on my blog.
Sumatran Tiger Cub Update
Just to let you know the 2 Sumatran tiger cubs born in August are doing well. They are nearly 6 weeks old now and are growing fast!! They are both boys and WHF are currently running a text vote on names for them. The 4 short listed names are Toba, Kubu, Jiwa and Daya - I will let you know when names are finally decided!
And.....more news very soon on some exciting WHF developments!

New Pictures....and some more moves!
I thought that it was time to upload a few new pictures!! WHF has been a very busy place in the last few months with many comings and goings.....from very big cats to the smallest member of the cat family, the Rusty Spotted cat.
2 little Rustys arrived from France (along with a female Serval) recently and I have to say that they are tiny! They are all currently in quarantine so photo opportunities are limited to through wire at the moment but I think that they will be a real hit with visitors in the future.
Cat moves are still the order of the day! Artem one of the male Amur Leopards has moved on to the Rutland Centre and Pamir (one of the 4 Pallas Cat kittens born at WHF last year) has more to the Rare Species Conservation Centre in Sandwich Kent.
I have uploaded a few new pictures of Themba the white lion, Narnia a white tiger and a few others including a Chinese leopard and a pallas cat.....hopefully more to follow shortly!
